Kathy Barc, R.T. (ARTT)
Radiation Therapist
Kathy is certified and board registered in radiologic
technology and radiation therapy. She is registered through
the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (AART) She worked at the
Detroit-Macomb Hospital Corporation from 1978-1980 and Henry Ford hospital from
1993-1994. Although Kathy started of in human medicine as an x-ray technician,
and radiation therapy she decided to go a different route and started working in
veterinary medicine in February of 2000. Kathy has two children and has been
involved in training, breeding and showing flat coat retrievers for 20 years.
Currently she owns two champion flat coat retrievers. They share their home with
Willow the kitten!
Joe Deboe

Joe came to the Animal Cancer and Imaging Center in August of
2006. He comes to us with a great deal of experience in veterinary surgery,
anesthesia, and radiation oncology. Joe attended Eastern Michigan University
where he majored in Microbiology. He then studied veterinary anesthesia at The
Ohio State University College of Veterinary medicine. Joe was trained in
veterinary radiation therapy at MedVet Associates in Columbus , OH by Deborah
Prescott, DVM, PhD, Diplomate ACVR (Radiation Oncology). After spending 5 years
in Ohio , Joe returned to the metro Detroit area with his family, to pursue a
graduate degree in Medical Physics at Wayne State University .
Joe’s experience in veterinary medicine includes working at three
veterinary referral hospitals throughout the Midwest in the areas of Oncologic
Surgery and Radiation Oncology.
Billie K. Arceneaux, B.S.R.T.,(R)(T)(MR)(CT)

Billie graduated from the University of
Nebraska Medical Center and was certified by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and
Computed Tomography. Dr. Obradovich has known and worked with Billie since 1988
when Billie started at the CSU Animal Medical Center and Dr. Obradovich began
her oncology residency. Billie was instrumental in helping us set up our
radiation therapy program in 1998 and assists Dr. LaRue in all treatment
planning for ACIC. Billie is also responsible for quality control on our
radiation calculations and reviewing port films on a daily basis.
